Thank you for your detailed review of "Orcas Forever"! I am glad to know that you enjoyed the book and that the illustrations captivated you, as it encourages me to want to share that feeling myself. It is incredible to learn about the behavior of orcas and how they operate in their matriarchal society, since I was little they have always captivated me. Also, the importance of protecting these creatures and their ecosystem is a powerful message. I will definitely add it to my recommended reading list. Thanks for sharing your opinion! :) :)

A wonderful insight into the lives of Orcas. Great majestic mammals who deserve to be recognized for who and what they are. Man is so destructive in their strive for greed and swamping and stripping our oceans. The very food basket of these amazing giant beasts. Thank you to the author for going into detail on how these mammals live, eat, play and strive to survive. Long live the Orcas!!

Many cetaceans are endangered because of human activities, including orcas. Understanding their high intelligence and social behavior helps us care for species that are important for marine ecosystems that are already damaged if not collapsing. For these reasons, this book is terrific for children and can be interesting for grown-up readers as well. Thank you for your great review!
Ciao :)

I learned a lot about Orcas in this short book! I was especially touched by the grieving process of one of the mothers when her calf died. I sincerely hope that people care enough to protect these wonderful animals and help to increase their numbers.

Thank you for an excellent review.

I remember being fascinated by orcas back when "Free Willy" was released (yes, I'm old). I felt that excitement rekindled by your review. They are magnificent animals. Thank you!

How shocking it is to know that human activities have negative effects on orcas habitats around the world. Habitat interruption is harmful to all sea creatures, and it really needs to be taught to kids at such an early age so that they will know how to be responsible for their actions and have sympathy not only for the orca but for all sea creatures. Rave review! Congratulations, author BOTD! You deserve it.

I have already read and reviewed this book. It was an entertaining, thought-provoking, and educational read about the need to preserve this endangered species. It is ideal for children interested in stories about animals and wildlife, especially orcas.

Awesome review for a great Book of the Day! Way to go! I loved it!!

Drawing awareness to the nearly-endangered Orca species, today's BOTD is an educational children's book that's fit for all ages! Filled with beautiful illustrations and valuable information, readers will walk away with not only an understanding of their daily lives, but also what we can do to help them survive and thrive. Thank you again for your wonderful review! :-)

Splendid review of an equally beautiful book! I loved the story-telling way of presenting the life of this endangered species. The fact that they not only swim, breathe and feed but also grieve, is very interesting. We, humans, should stop destroying the habitats of so many beings!
