It sounds impressive advanture book plus very important health education. Nowadays asthma is very common disease and it seems good way to teach them through adventure book. It's not just novel but nice way to introduce about asthma's management. I believe it would help who's suffering ashtma and their family.

It must be entertaining for kids with asthma reading about a fish suffering from the same condition. When information is shared in a light and funny setting, it often sticks better. I, for one, had to giggle with the name of the health professional.

The email description I saw for the BOTD made me think it was a complicated medical guide on asthmatic patients.
I had a sort of comical awakening reading the review and seeing that the characters are fishes and the settings inside the water body of course.
It's a children's book mostly...from the samples I've read as the whole diction, characterization and everything is designed to make it readable for children. Would recommend for parents of children with or without asthma and as I am either, I will respectfully pass.
Short and concise review there reviewer, and congrats to the author on their BOTD nomination.

'Alfie's Attack' is a book that resonates with me, because my son has had some episodes of asthma attacks that landed us in the emergency room. I see this book as an educative piece that both parents and children need to read. The reviewer did an awesome job

Alfie's attack is such a great book for children. It tells a story about a fish that has asthma. It does not only educate children about asthma and how to manage it, it also educates young adults and adults who do not know what exactly asthma is and how to manage it.

The book seems informative providing the parents with the knowledge they need to know about asthma. I also like the author emphasising that an illness is not the end of the world and combining medicine and a positive mind set you can live like anyone else and be happy. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
