What Did You Do at School Today? by C.C. Lacavera is a creative and engaging book that helps parents connect with their children by fostering meaningful conversations about school. Through short, open-ended questions, it covers various aspects of a child’s day, including learning, sensory experiences, emotions, class activities, and outdoor games. The rhymes, particularly those about games like hide-and-seek, add charm, while vibrant illustrations enhance its appeal. Written in simple, engaging language and impeccably edited

Great review. I do agree with the author's that life has become really busy that its becoming hard for children to bond with their parents and I'm glad What did you do at school today? will be pretty insightful in parents learning more about the events their children do .

Parents should learn to be extensively involved In what their kids do in school .Showing that they actually want to know by asking those farfetching questions would lead kids to open up more . This book is exactly what's needed for that.Great review and a very insightful book it is

The book is a wholesome exploration of a child's life. From questions bordering on their cognition, like what they did with their ears, eyes, and nose, to those on their personal dispositions (like whether they were kind to themselves enough to have some gleeful giggle), class activities, interpersonal relationships, and outdoor activities. I enjoyed reading all of them. The rhymes were impressive, my favorite being the ones on the questions about hide and seek, tag, bat, and catch. The illustrations were very bright and correctly reflected each question and activity. I found the word choices very simple and engaging.
- Except for the aforementioned rhymes, I do not find this book very appealing as I already do all of these with my kids. However it was a very nice review. Thsnk you.

Such a wonderful review, it gave so much insight into the entire book right from the first page to the last. This review had me thinking I was reading the books abstract.
On a more serious note, I would recommend every parent to read this book. Sometimes we need a little guidance to parenting and don't even know it. This book reminds us to make time for our little ones and make that time impactful even if it's only for a few minutes or hours a day.

As expressed in the review, there is so much that adds to a child’s growing experience and learning process. Children receive diverse inputs from the environments and situations they are exposed to and elaborate them autonomously. It is fascinating to know more about their world of perceptions!

I want to know more about what these adventurous children did on their experiment in school. 'Children are remarkably amazing, creative, and adventurous, and it may surprise you to know of the so many things they do and experiment on while in school.'

Developing healthy communication with kids at an early age not only helps the child to open up but also makes them feel free to reach out if anything arises. I believe many parents will learn a lot from the book. Nice review.

The rhyming questions are so catchy and fun to read aloud. My little one was giggling and chiming in with their own answers before I could even finish the page!
