Fortunately, my kids are all grown up and their childhood ended before that bullying became international problem. It is good to see this kind of book available, but unfortunately, despite promising it for free it is not. Congrats with BOTD anyway!

This being book sounds like a very creative way to address the subject of bullying with children. As a child who very much wanted to meet the heroes/heroines of the books I read (and of course be able to make the world I lived in a better place), I am captivated by the idea of Jenny stepping out from the pages of Henry’s book and helping him to overcome both the bullying in his own life, and the bullying problem at his school. Henry decidedly sounds like a hero with Jenny’s help! This book sounds like a must read aloud to the class book for early elementary level school teachers! Thank you so much for this engaging review!

I share your observation that there aren’t many books that deal with serious issues that affect them and, certainly not bullying. Plus, one presents a great chance for parents, teachers and other caregivers to interact positively with children in dealing with a real issue.

I like that the author came up with a fun and original story. I think it’s important to talk about the problem of bullying at school. Many people do not realize that bullying is most often just a consequence of other problems that abusive children suffer in their families.

Bullying is a very topical issue. I'm so glad the author has tackled this topic. I would like to read how Jenny is able to help Henry. School libraries should stick this book. It sounds like the book covers the subject in depth by showing that bullies are actually or primaryily the ones with problems.

Bullying is one thing that makes children loose interest in school is so bad that many teachers and students transfer their aggression on a innocent people that no nothing about what they going through. Bullying kills anxiety and zeal especially in Children I love the review and like to see how Henry was able to solve the problem of bullying and how he became a hero.

Wow, what a great review! This book is a must read, not only for teachers and parents, but also for siblings and all who care about the needs of children. Bullying lowers a child's self-esteem and it is a problem we have to fight to ensure that children develop in a conducive environment and acquire important skills they would need to thrive and succeed in this world. Bullies too should be given adequate attention, so as to meet their needs as bullies went through some problems that made them the way they are.

Bullying is a major problem in schools and this book highlights the issue and how it affects the life of Henry. Then, Jenny came to his rescue. The book will be enjoyed by children who have experienced bullying or who want to help out a friend experiencing bullying at school.

Bullying is an unfortunate yet still prevalent practice. I'm glad there's a book that tries to tackle it in a unique and engaging way. This is a necessary and educational read. Congratulations on the BOTD.
