I love the representation of experience and wisdom in the figure of a dog who supports and provides sound advice to children. I just love this entertaining way of teaching children to trust the sound advice of older people. Although I'm not a child anymore, I would surely love reading this book.

The writer made it easy to understand children at every stage and for every parent to give listening ears so as not to allow children seek advice from there peers. In a nutshell will rate the written a 5 out of 5 for putting the master piece together.

It is easy to get caught up in the day-to-day without taking too much time at the little person we have in our lives. This book, as you state in your review, urges adults to take a moment, as Winston does, and touch base with the child in their life. Children are constantly thrust into unfamiliar situations, where they may feel that they are alone, but it's like you said: Winston will let them know they are not alone. What a great book!

Winston is a very wise and caring soul. The fact that he is a dog that shows compassion to children in need and helps them learn life's lessons makes it all the more accessible to teaching children and reminding adults of the lessons we all take to heart. The pictures bring Winston to life!

Our children need our attention now more than ever and JiM Trebbien's Wise Winston's Walk is a great choice. We need to teach our children the need to be outspoken. This book is inviting and I think every child out there needs it

As adults we tend to underestimate the importance of childhood concerns, but this book shows that they have a profound effect on young minds. It promotes a supportive environment in which children feel comfortable expressing their feelings and receiving advice, by acknowledging and addressing these concerns. Congratulations on BOTD!

Today's BOTD is a children's book that addresses common questions of children that may have gone unanswered for one reason or another. Winston not only provides outstanding advice, but also helps open the door for parents to have conversations with their children (but aren't sure where to start) about things that bring worry or wonder. I love everything about this book...thank you so much! :-)

Thank you for your insightful review on "Wise Winston Walks" by Jim Trebbien. I love how Winston, the dog, is there for children who have questions they might not want to ask an adult. He answers them simply and even tells them when they need to tell an adult. Adults must pay more attention to children so that they can know when they are being bullied or burdened by something. The character of Winston is wonderful as he conveys wise advice, positive mindset and may positively influence the lives of children. This book is temporarily on sale at Amazon and I did purchase it for my granddaughter especially since she loves dogs. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

That's a great expressive review. Knowing that children are unique in their own characteristics and different from each others plus the importance of caring for our children and understanding what they are going through is essential. Using the dog, a favorite pet for most children, as an advisor is a nice thing to do. Congrats on BOTD

This is a lovely children’s book with Winston the dog meeting various children on his walk and answering their questions. It beautifully deals with the various inner struggles of children. The illustrations add to the welcoming feel of the book.
