Thank you for your great review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. I also like children's books, especially those that have great characters and life-learning stories. I love that animals will help out whoever needs help and they are all part of the animal kingdom. Too bad humans don't do the same. After reading your review, I have added it to my list of books to read.

Mike and Alex are heroic animal environmentalists. They help creatures wherever and whenever they need help. Journey with them on their worldwide adventures, and learn how to care for others and your environment. As a reviewer, you enjoyed the book. I am sure all the children will, too.

Thank you for your heart warming review on "Mike & Alex" by Peter van Wermeskerken. This is a children's book with two parts, 3 and 4, that follow the exploits of Mike and Alex with their new ocean friends. Together, they help out others in need and accomplish great feats! After they help Wally, the whale travels with them on his back to Normandy, Wales, the Atlantic Ocean, New Zealand and other cities in the world. This is such a great book for children ages 6 to 12. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

I like the book because it carries a strong environmental and moral message, emphasizing the importance of treating animals and nature with respect. Through humorous and creative situations, it encourages young readers to consider the feelings and needs of animals as the story blends fun and education in a way that appeals to both children and their caregivers, sparking laughter and reflection.
