Pete and June have always attempted to have things their way but eventually admit that Dad and Mom's positions are right. Yet they are not ready to "surrender." This battle for "autonomy" cuts across things like bedtime, diet, and the like. How long will this go on? Can Pete and June finally stop protesting and realise Dad and Mom are amazing personalities who desire the best things for them in life?

I read the last line, satisfied and impressed by the invaluable lessons discussed in this book. I would say this is one of the best gifts anybody can give any child between the ages of six and nine. There are a lot of influences from friends and social media, most of which are dangerous to children's well-being, and I think exposing children to books that teach them to trust their parents' directives is a proper and effective measure to adopt.

The story reads like poetry, with the second and fourth lines maintaining a constant rhyme. I am glad the word choices made were simple, except for the word "puddle," which some children may be meeting for the first time. But generally, children can enjoy the rhythmic, fun effects in this story without worrying about complex words.

I would say the message in this book applies to unlimited areas of life as they concern children's well-being and parent-child relationships. Aimee Andren used just five instances in this book to demonstrate this and teach children the need to trust their parents' directives, decisions, or suggestions. She did a great job capturing the supposed freedom and confidence children would think they would enjoy and then going on to show how illusive, misleading, and dangerous these can be to their well-being. An example can be seen in Pete and June's craving to eat an alluring set of foods.

This is a well-edited book. I found just one grammatical error in it. There was nothing I disliked while reading this book. However, I would suggest the author consider changing the name Peter in "while June and Peter prayed," location 8, to Pete, which is the version used in the rest of the story. It's my pleasure to rate Mom & Dad Are Always Right: The Misadventures of Pete & June five out of five stars due to the invaluable lessons it teaches and the gripping narration. I don't have any reason to rate it lower.

This a book about family relationship and how growing up with your child. Why give a "autonomy" parents or child when you read to now that. This is amazing story about compromise between parents and children. That book learnings us how we have a good relationship with family and how we communicate our child. I recommend everyone why haven't understanding your child and found way to resolve problems with family relationship.

Indeed, as the saying goes, Mom knows best. It is applied to parents. They know best. While children expose to social media now, parents have a hard time controlling them. I think this book offers advice for this. Thanks for your excellent review, Maduabuchi!

I am a mother in a new generation, which other people call Gen Z, which means Generation has been raised on the internet and social media. This book is a must for mothers and children to teach not only the kids but also the mother that, as parents, we always wanted the best for our kids.

Family, attachment with kids, maintaining the connect inspite of social media and Internet influences is the challenge this generation of parents face. The book, with the help of instances, has helped strike a good balance in which both sides win.

The book's title and cover were appealing. I love reading children's literature. I found the same qualities that I appreciate in children's novels present in this book. I adored every sketch, especially the final one. Being both a parent and a child can be challenging. Finding the right balance between showing affection and discipline can be challenging, but even when children behave badly, their parents still love them. It's heartwarming to see this tug-of-war dynamic between parents and children. I adored it!

This is a quaint little straightforward book which could be read at bedtime. I usually think that colour illustrations are more eye catching in a book such as this, but black and white just adds to its old-fashioned appeal. Not everything needs to be flashy, in fact the pictures were enjoyable. Nice little book and thank you reviewer…

"Mom & Dad Are Always Right" by Aimee.Andren@gmail.com seems like valuable lessons thought through poem, which easily grasp the children's attention. It involves the situations where kids realise, yes Mom and Dad are always right and lessons were thought.

Today's book of the day is filled with interesting rhymes and color illustrations, a meaningful read perfectly recommendable for families who have young children. It shows how much parents try to impart into their children, surrounding them with wisdom and fun. And, the storytelling is fun, for both parents and kids. Thank you, BOTD reviewer!

I am curious about this book. From the title, it is not clear if this is to be taken serious or with humor. When reading the review, I understand it is not a humoristic book. I appreciate kids trying to push boundaries and parents needing to set rules and guidance.

A simple and enjoyable book for kids and parents to relax with. As kids, we experienced it, and now, as parents, we have navigated through it. I look forward to reading it just for fun. A little color would enhance its appeal, considering the target audience.
