Anna, a young girl, meets Shadow, a sleek black cat, one day while on the mountainside. They easily get along and talk about the Keanutes. Shadow also takes Anna on an adventure around the mountains. During one of their adventures, they meet ponies, and they soon become great friends and decide to go on very long adventures together across the world. The ponies are called Scout and Sosh. They see beautiful places such as mountains, plateaus, meadows, rivers, valleys, and waterfalls, among others. They also meet different animals, such as eagles, butterflies, deer, cattle, ducks, and turkeys, among others. If you wish to learn more and go on an adventure full of wonderful sites and beautiful places, please grab yourself a copy of the book The Katz Who've Come To Stay by Robyn Tompkins.

There are several things I liked while reading this book. I enjoyed the adventure journeys that Anna and her team went on. They visited different places and saw different animals. Some of the places they visited were mountains, canyons, meadows, rivers, and plains, among others. The descriptions of the scenery were simple and yet beautiful. I was able to draw mental pictures of the places they visited.

I also enjoyed learning about the Keanutes. Keanutes, according to the author, are beings who were the first to inhabit the Rockies. They named all the creatures, and they were strikingly handsome people with alert features. I bet you didn't know this until now. I also didn't know anything about them until I read this book, and kudos to the author for telling me about them.

The only thing I didn't like is that the book had several errors, and some words were separated from another before a sentence ended, which distracted me while reading. For the reasons above, I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to children who love adventure because the book is about adventure.

I was wondering if this was for children or adults, so I'm glad you made it clear. It sounds like early adolescents will appreciate this story the most.
