Review of Educational Santa Claus Activity Book
Educational Santa Claus Activity Book by Misha Joshi is a delightful activity book designed for children. It is a coloring book with stories about Santa visiting children worldwide and giving them presents. The children he visits are named Vihaan, Misha, Santiago, Kyle, Pawan, Oliver, Sofia, and Jack. Santa also surprises the children with a copy of this coloring book, which is a humorous touch by the author. There are lots of coloring pages included that contain Christmas scenes with animals such as dinosaurs, cats, elves, zebras, kangaroos, lions, monkeys, owls, penguins, and reindeer. There are mandalas to color as well. After you read each story about Santa's visit, there is a quiz you can complete. Some of the stories about Santa visiting the kids contain cultural information relating to the continent where he or she lives. The stories are entertaining and creative, which is one of my favorite things about this book.
Overall, I think that the book is fun, imaginative, and entertaining for children. I would recommend it for kids who are ages 0 to 12. The artwork in the coloring pages is cute and the detail in the mandalas is impressive. This coloring book would keep my child occupied for several hours. I plan on giving it to my daughter as a Christmas present; I think she will love it.
As much as I like this coloring book, I have to admit there are copious amounts of grammatical and spelling errors. I found so many errors that my attention was diverted from the stories included in the book. I hope that this author uses an editing service for future publications. I believe that would improve the quality of the book enormously.
Overall, I have to give this coloring book a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. The reason I have to subtract a star is due to the many grammatical and spelling errors. The formatting of the book could be improved on as well. If I were looking at this book with the eyes of a child, I probably wouldn't notice any of these flaws, however. I would love the book and enjoy the stories about Santa.
