Your review is so compelling! I appreciate how you highlighted the author's honest struggle with faith and the beautiful journey of the narrators. The mix of historical insights and personal stories sounds fascinating.

I absolutely loved your detailed review! The way you described the blend of romance, grief, and the soldier's life intrigued me. I can't wait to read how the author navigates these themes.

I find that I'm curious about David's true identity, the hammer he needs to lift, and his mission to awaken the gods, even though religious fiction and war stories are not my favorites. Those who love faith-based stories would appreciate this read, though Congrats on BOTD!
