Review of Doppelgänger
Rudy works as a reporter, and the computers at his firm are attacked by a computer virus. Later on, they find out that it's not only them that had their systems attacked by a virus, but other countries as well. A reporter, Ashley LaPolla, says it was NTroodr who spread the massive virus to the computers in the different countries. Rudy gets suspicious of her because he has never heard of NTroodr before and is wondering why she is so sure it isn't Codebreaker Morant. When Rudy and Chess got married and went on their honeymoon, they saw a man who looked exactly like Rudy but was a few years older at the airport. When they went to their hotel, a Gardner said Rudy looked like Mr. Linzman's son. Rudy travels to seek help from his friend Dickie to find out if Ashley truly is Codebreaker Morant. Is Ashley really Codebreaker Morant? Who was the man who looked exactly like Rudy? Are they maybe related, or is he just a lookalike? Get a copy of Doppelgänger: The Rudy Styne Quadrilogy Book II by Marc J. Seifer to find out.
This is a very beautiful and intriguing story about a number of things, like the wonders of airplanes, the war, Rudy finding out whether Ashley is Codebreaker Morant, as well as discovering who NTroodr is and who Rolf Linzman is. I love how the story unfolds piece by piece in such a simple way that I can understand and follow it. Simon has to be my favorite character, as well as little Abe, who is just a little genius and cute and charming. I also love Chess; she is adorable and sweet. The character I really dislike is Baron von Richthofen; he seems like a very heartless person who just wants to be on top, and he sees killing fellow humans as nothing. The characters are all unique in their own way, and I'm sure that anyone who reads this book will find something to love about them.
At some point, this book had me screaming, "Hope it's not what I'm thinking!" That is how intense the story was! I am quite fascinated by NTroodr because being able to hack like this is actually so intriguing yet scary at the same time. I would recommend Doppelgänger: The Rudy Styne Quadrilogy Book II by Marc J. Seifer to people who love mystery books as well as people fascinated by planes and hacking. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars because I loved how intense it was and because it had a good storyline. I removed a star from the rating because there were many characters, and I found it challenging to keep track of them. I also encountered some errors while reading it. Another round of editing will get rid of these errors.
