Golden Boy by Tara Sullivan

Post by eprater »

This book was an extremely moving story about a 13 year old Albino boy who has to run away from a town that hunts Albinos, thinking that Albino parts bring good luck. A man follows him, and he not only has to survive, but find a way to accept himself through the destruction of humanity.
This is a fictional book, but it is based off of a true story, unfortunately. It was a tradition that occurred a long time ago, but history has also repeated itself in recent times as well. I was deeply touched by the book and the moral was amazing. The book portrayed so much purpose and I believe that everyone should read it!
