I almost forgot the mention how glad I was to hear that one can read this book without having to read the others in the series.

A fictional story that infuses historical events in ancient Britannia and Rome. The elements of fantasy and romance looks complex and interesting. Congrats on BOTD!

Thank you for this most intriguing and excellent review. You did e great job telling us about this book.
I’m not really into this type of story, but your review did have my interest peaked just a bit.

Will Catrin be able to take on her half-brother and take over the throne? Will her forbidden love/husband be revealed? Sounds like an exciting read! Tying in some nonfiction characters is great! I also like that you can read this book without needing to read the three before this one. The druids inclusion sounds interesting! Glad you enjoyed the read, even ifit had some errors. Thank you for sharing!

Sounds like a great blend of historical fact and fiction dealing with ancient Britannia and the Romans. Should be a great read for those interested in that era of history. Congrats to the author for achieving BOTD honors.

Thank you for explaining about Catrin and why her husband left. I don't how someone loves power and control like Marrock does. It is nice to know that one wouldn't need to read the books in the series before this one to understand it. I'm sure those that love this genre will enjoy the book. It is not usually one that I choose, so I will pass on it, but it was a wonderful review.

A fictional blend of recorded historical events between ancient Britannia and Rome sounds intriguing. I am curious to see if Catrin manages to defeat Marrock and reunites with her husband Marcellus. Congratulations on BOTD.

This book is combination of history of the Britain and Roman era together with the fantasy and mythological references where both kingdoms will fight over power and ultimately, the throne.

Wow! This book sounds like the entire package; history, fiction, magic, action, romance all packed in one book. There were no mentions of the characters in the review but I'm sure the characters of Marcellus and Catrin must be great as well!

Although I love the mystical cover design, forbidden love story is not something I'm eager to read at the moment. So passing on this one. But congratulations on being listed as Book Of The Day.

Amazingly, Skull's Vengeance by Linnea Tanner appears to be a compelling tale about a woman named Catrin who longs to save the Cantiaci Kingdom from the evil King Marrock. I'm reading to find out if Catrin was successful in her mission.
