Skull's Vengeance is truly a remarkable tale which focuses on love and loyalty. With Cathrin and Marcus so intimately in love, one can understand the attacks from Marcus's brother. Thanks for the reviewed,

The idea of creating a fictional world based on actual historical events that occurred in ancient Britain and Rome sounds thrilling. Whether Catrin is able to get past Marrock and make amends with Marcellus is something I'm curious to find out.

Although the romantic angle is good and adventurous, some aspects seem to be pretty dark. It'll be interesting to see how Linnea blends real with fiction. Great review!

This is a beautiful fantasy read that will get me off the grid. I love druids and how they can manipulate nature. They can even launch a lethal attack from thin air. I also admire the romance theme that seeps through this book's pages. I believe it's a good read, and I will get over to Amazon and grab a copy. Thanks!

The author expertly weaves historical fictional and nonfictional elements in this thrilling installment of a series that can be read as a standalone. I am thrilled to witness how the love between Catrin and Marcellus will bloom in such an atmosphere of hate and disdain. A well-deserved BOTD and a good review.
Marrock seems like a tyrant who would do anything for the throne. I would definitely read this book so I can find out if Catrin conquered Marrock and became queen of Cantiaci and if love prevailed in the case of herself and her and lover Marcellus. I really enjoyed your review, it gave this amazing impression about the book.
Congratulations to the author on BOTD.

"Skull's Vengeance" by Linnea Tanner is a fictional story that blends historical events between Britannia and Rome. The story takes place in Southeast Britannia where the Cantiaci Kingdom was ruled by King Marrock a horrible man that had slaughtered his father and the entire household to claim the throne himself. This book includes dark magic, curses, evil druidesses, murder and a woman named Catrin who can access the power of the ancient druids and she is married to a Roman, a marriage was not looked on kindly by other Romans. Catrin is the half-sister of Marrock and her goal is to take back the kingdom and rule it with her husband Marcellus. Some of the Celtic characters are nonfictional but other characters were created to enhance the story. While magic and curses are not my usual book the official review and sample have motivated me to buy the book and read it. Very good review.

This is one amazing plot. I love that the main character is a female, Caitrin, who eventually will save the world. I also love that there's a forbidden love trope between her and Marcellus. It's an amazing fantasy novel with a blend of romance, and history

Tgis sounds like a good history fiction text based on ancient kingdoms and authorities. Thank you for your descriptive review.

Druids, fatal family squabbles, curses, and ancient Britannia? So far I see nothing that will dissuade me from reading this novel. I'm glad that the editing quality is up to snuff, as that's one of the factors I look forward to in books. Congrats on making BOTD!

This is quite the adventure story. How Marrock could have to the conscience to slaughter his whole family because of a throne is something else. I'd love to know more. Interesting plot.
