I am one of the lucky few who got the first book (thanks to the author). I have read the review of the second book (Code of Disjointed Letters) and now I read your review and it made me so excited about the series. I appreciate your pointing out the religious aspect of the book. Good thing I don't get easily affected by such. Great review!

Thank you, kimmyschemy06! I feel the religious piece was something I needed to mention, just in case. But, like I said, I was able to enjoy it regardless.

Do you mean that you have Save the Last Bullet for God? I know the author was kind enough to be offering that for free before. That actually contains all three books, if that's the case :)

:D If you look through your ebook, you can see this book as the third part and The Code of Disjointed Letters as the second part and book.

Definitely! That was really nice of the author to give Save the Last Bullet for God because then readers can read all three books without missing anything. Thanks again, JT Alblood!

That's awesome! Great job on this review, hsimone. Even though you would think it is evident from the title, I'm glad that you mentioned the religious aspect. The book and series as a whole sounds fascinating! I'm even more excited to read my free book (trilogy). I don't know if I'll make it until May ;) Thank you, JT!

I think it was smart to put this book into the historical fiction section. It may encourage some other readers to branch out even though it has a name that sounds SF.

Thank you for your kind words! I thought it was obvious too from the title, but you never know! :) That was very nice of the author to offer his book for free!

Good point on putting this book under historical fiction! And it definitely makes sense with the plot. Thanks again, anonanemone! :)

I wouldn't mind finding out what Oktay has to say about the workings of our world. Excellent review hsimone! Sounds truly enjoyable.

I am looking forward to the BOTM discussion of the trilogy, which includes this book. It was really generous of the author to offer it for free for a limited time!

This is a great review. The book sounds really interesting. I haven't read too much historical fiction, but when I do, I usually really enjoy reading it. I've seen the sort of "anti-religion" thing before in books and I'm curious as to why characters are trying to get rid of God. But yes, excellent review. The flow from topic to topic is really well done! I might have to add this book/trilogy to my To Read list. Also, congratulations to the author on the great score.

It definitely was nice of the author. I can't wait for the May BOTM either since I haven't read the other two yet!

Thank for your kind words, Thimble! Hopefully, you'll be able to join us on May's BOTM to discuss the trilogy! I feel it's going to be an interesting discussion.
