This book sounds very interesting, and it sounds as though it includes characters that you really care about. It's definitely one that I will put on my "to read" list.

I love being able to connect with a character, and it sounds like you did! This time period and some of the phenomena related to it is rather interesting. I think I will need to read this book and discover a bit more.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

I have been looking to branch out and I have read a couple historical fiction books that I enjoyed. This might be the next one on my list! Thanks for the review!
