It sounds like a moving story with many brave people doing selfless things. The holocaust was an atrocity that affected many people's lives. It's beautiful that love still blooms despite all the trauma. Thank you for your informative review.

While war is not my favorite topic, I appreciated hearing from the varying perspectives of each of the characters: Mo, Aaron, TR, and their families. The narratives (insofar as provided in the free excerpt on Amazon) are compelling and prompt the reader to care about the characters and their outcomes. I am interested in the reviewer's take on Janey and Mo's relationship, and I am definitely putting this on my reading list.

This review captures the depth and emotional gravity of Circumstances of War beautifully! I appreciate how the reviewer highlights not just the historical backdrop but also the deeply personal stories of Mo, Janey, Aaron, and TR Royce. I’m especially intrigued by Mo’s unwavering love for Janey despite her disability and how that dynamic is explored during such a tumultuous time. Aaron's bravery in the concentration camps also sounds like a powerful testament to human resilience and ingenuity. The way TR Royce’s story intersects with the broader narrative, showing his selflessness despite his privileged background, adds another compelling layer to the book. This review makes it clear that the novel doesn’t just depict the horrors of war but also emphasizes love, sacrifice, and solidarity. I’m definitely adding this to my reading list—thank you for such an insightful review!

War reaps people's hearts and ways of life. It is a dangerous thing any human can experience, and whether real or fictional, I always feel sad for the victims. I hope the book finds the best audience. Congrats.
