"Sister B" by David Charles Hart is a captivating story about Willa Mae, an African American woman who moves to Portland, Oregon, and becomes a nurse. She meets Akio, a Japanese documentarian, and becomes a leader in the African American community. The book is well-written, rated 4 out of 4, and mixes mystery and romance.
