I love that the author has so seamlessly merged fiction with nonfiction. The blend of history with Celtic myths would be perfect for me. Thanks for the awesome review!

The political, historical, and romantic blend of this novel makes it a great addition to the library of any fantasy lover. The inclusion of ancient civilizations and tongues is a brilliant idea. Thank you for your review!

I'm not an avid lover of historical books, so I would pass it on to lovers of them. Nevertheless, this review seems engaging. Congrats on BOTD.

This book has an ancient feel. The blend of real events and fiction has been done cleverly. The author has done their research well and has integrated a fine historical British tribal tone. Good review .. very explanatory .

:tiphat: The story is quite similar to many books and some TV series that have been produced. The plot seems to be quite repetitive to other representations. The two kingdoms in discord with each other the Romans and Britannians, showcase some dark sides of the characters. The reviewer produced excellent writing about the romance, hatred among family members, and legacy. Despite the rating, this is not a story interesting to read further. Thank you for a great review.

It sounds like an interesting mix of history and magic. It's great to know it can be read as a stand-alone. The plot sounds fascinating, with druids, curses, a special dagger and a special woman to wield it. The romantic angle looks complicated and brings more action to the story. Thank you for your informative review.

"Skull’s Vengeance" by Linnea Tanner is an epic mix of historical fiction and dark magic. A cursed dagger, a ruthless king, and a forbidden love between a Roman and a Celtic warrior—Catrin must embrace her druidic power to claim her destiny. Congratulations on being BOTD!

I like the imagination and vision the author had writing this book. I also like the concept of Kings, Queens, Demons and Dragons set in a time way back. I can see this book being turned into a game as some of the characters has powers. It was a fun read.

The characters, particularly the protagonist Catrin, lack depth and struggle to evoke any real emotional connection. The pacing is uneven, with certain chapters dragging on unnecessarily, making it hard to stay engaged. However, the book’s rich historical setting and the potential of its characters offer a foundation for future improvement, leaving hope for the next installment.
