Thank you for your detailed review! I actually love with history is mixed into a novel. I get to learn while I'm enjoying a good read. I also like how the reader is kept guessing. Congratulations to te author for receiving such a positive review!

WONDERFUL REVIEW! Intrigued now and cannot wait to start reading this page-turner. I love a well-written novel where the author keeps the reader guessing about what is going to happen. Most reads are very predictable. Will Sam stay with Ruth or find his way back to Mary?

I'm hoping you and others will find it as unpredictable as I did. I'll be interested to hear how others thought about those predictions!

Great review. Although I am not really fond of reading historical themed stories, esp. with wars on the background, your review made me very interested to read it. :) Thank you.

An Undesirable Marriage by Meriel Brook is a hard book to review, as most view Historical Fiction as being a somewhat dull subject, however, your review made this book sound very appealing and one that I actually think I might enjoy! WW1 was so far back in time that today's generation doesn't even view it as real, but this book brings the times and the situations of those who lived through it alive for the reader in a way that anyone can relate to no matter what their age. Thank you for a very compelling and detailed review of An Undesirable Marriage, I hope I enjoy the book as much as I did your review!?? Good job!!!

Great review on the BOTD! I downloaded this book today and based on your review, it sounds like a book I'd enjoy. I like that Sam loves Mary, but then he meets Ruth; a common choice that has to be made that's not that easy to make. I've always learned much more about historic times from a novel than from a history book. Thanks to you and congratulations to Meriel Brooke!

A historical fiction story where the reader is kept guessing is surely a winner! Thanks for sharing your review.
