Great review. It is nice to read from the perspective of the youth during that era during the Viet Nam war, and how they took a stand against it. I will try to get a chance to read more than just the sample as it seemed to be well written with a variety of charcters.

'Protests are breaking out on college campuses around the country as military units stand poised to stop the violence. The older generation does not understand them, but they are determined to express their ideas about the war in Vietnam.'
I'd like to know how the Vietnam War affected students enough to make them protest.

"Wild World" seems like a good read. The Vietnam War is a topic that breeds many opinions, some good and some bad, because it is known as a war that America lost. I am interested in the viewpoints of the characters in this story about the war. I am even interested in learning their perspectives regarding police brutality. What did Steve find out about the police department he joined that could be life-altering? I am learning that just because a job seems to concur with your morals and ethics, when you are hired as an employee, you may encounter something different. Steve's story seems as one that may resonate with me.

Hello! I enjoyed your review very much for its clarity and I find this topic so interesting! I peeked the free sample from Amazon, and honestly it seems like a good read. Descriptive about the context and the tension it takes place in, and the dialogues seem intriguing as well. :techie-studyingbrown:

Sounds like a powerful story with a mix of history, personal struggle, and tough choices. I like that it doesn’t push an agenda but instead lets the characters’ perspectives speak for themselves.
