:shifty: Catrin's fate is crucial, as she has the power to break the curse of Rhan, which affects her father's kingdom.

Marcellus got what he deserved from Elaine's husband for having an affair with his wife. Catrin, on the other hand, might need to leave sentiments aside if she's going to succeed at breaking the curse. Great plot, and congratulations on BOTD.

Good review! I am undecided whether to read this one. Although I love a good illicit love affair, I'm not much into gladiator-type books. It sounds like a good story with plenty of characters.

Thank you for the review. I sampled a few chapters. The author writes well with action and emotion. Catrin is a strong woman dressed as a boy. This is a book with some mysticism along with history. Congrats for the #BOTD on the third book in the series.

What a great review. To list all the goods and bads of the book and not mention a single spoiler along with maintaing and creating curiosity.
The journey of catrin has come to a abrupt halt and things have changed. I liked where in the first book the centre was to choose between love and duty and in book 3 they have to pass obstacles to be together. Also with a question will they pass this situation?

This isn't really my genre so I might skip this one. Book 3 must mean there's still plenty of plot to be developed. This will have a wide audience I'm sure.

In the ancient times of Romans and Celtics there was a gladiatrix named Catrin who had shared forbidden love with Marcellus, a Roman soldier. Forces were against them. Did they rise up and claim what was rightfully theirs?

The novel blends historical realism with fantasy elements, such as Celtic gods and prophecies, in a way that feels natural to the story. This fusion of genres adds a mystical dimension to the novel and enhances the sense of destiny that surrounds Catrin’s journey.

The plot of Amulet's Rapture sounds interesting, even for those who didn't read the previous book; I might give this series a try.

I truly want to read all 3 books as it sound very intriguing. Although I'm not fond of romances it seems like the author did and exceptional job by combining history and romance together. Thanks for a great review. Congrats on BOTD and thanks for the free book.

Set in a bygone era, this story of forbidden love follows Catrin's journey through hardship and servitude. While historical fiction isn't my usual preference, the prospect of a passionate and tumultuous romance has me intrigued. Thanks for the insightful review!
