This book sounds really interesting. Its a historic fiction based on true events. As you mentioned the choice between revenge and forgiveness is really a tough one especially if your loved ones are harmed. I am really curious about how Amora journey takes place. Thank you for the review.

The book's exploration of the tough choice between vengeance and forgiveness is thought-provoking. Amora's inner conflict and Leo's pursuit of revenge are skillfully depicted.
You are yet to be the best version of yourself. Keep refining.

This is a thought-provoking book. It teaches several life lessons. When I first saw the cover, it looked a romance novel (which will usually not pique my interest), but upon reading the review, I guess I'd like to walk through its pages like the reviewer did. Most of all, I'd like to be transported back in time to when the Roman Empire stood.

The seamless introduction of a love story amidst the central theme adds depth to the narrative. The characters of Antonio and Maria add another layer of emotion to the already compelling plot.

Grant J. Hallstrom skillfully depicts Amora's transformation as a Christian in a hostile society. The themes of vengeance versus forgiveness resonate deeply. I'm excited to explore this thought-provoking historical fiction.

Amora reminds me of the movies I used watch growing up. Amora, her marriage, on becoming a Christian and persecution she faced. The romance, and suspense filled story captured my attention. The sadness broke my heart, A very well researched and well written story. Your review is excellent. :tiphat:

I loved how Grant J. Hallstrom portrayed the struggles of Amora, a high-born woman, converting to Christianity. The rejection she faced for her beliefs made her growth throughout the story captivating.

The story talks about how Amora married a Roman nobleman, Leo, and they lived happily with their children. Still, everything went sour when their daughter, Natalie, was murdered after her birthday, which is a mystery to be explored in this book. I like how the author writes this book to reflect ancient Roman stories. I also like how the author's writing style is conversational. Nice review.

The choices Amora had to make seems difficult which can also be a perfect time for the test of faith. Being a Muslim I would like to know some of the intricacies of Christian faith. Hope this book helps.

I don't usually enjoy historical fiction novels, however, I am enjoying the sound of the story from your review. It seems like Amora goes through many unimaginable challenges (the loss of a daughter is the worst thing I can think of), yet she grows from this, and finds faith. I like the themes, as they are very thought-provoking. Thanks for a detailed review, and congrats to the author on BOTD! 🙂

"Amora" is a fascinating historical-fiction novel by Grant J. Hallstrom which has personal illustrations of what it takes to remain faithful within the Christian religion. I cannot wait to learn more from this book. Thank you for this great review.
