This seems like a really good book. I’d like to learn more about George. Seems intriguing with lots of story to tell. Hard to read about tradgedy but this review explains that there is also humor in it. Congrats on the BOTD

This sounds like an interesting book. I wonder if George ends up turning his life around, or does he slip even further into the destructive lifestyle? It sounds like this is a story about finding oneself and embracing faith. Thanks for the detailed review.

Grief, bitterness, friendship, rebelliousness, and betrayal are often things we all feel to varying degrees throughout life. It sounds like this author was able to poignantly convey his feelings on several difficult topics. Thank you for your insightful review.

The message in this book about redemption is very compelling. I feel like the protagonist is a very relatable character to most people going through bad phases in their lives. I am curious to see if the protagonist managed to change his character because of his friend. I love this book.

No matter what we are facing, be it loss, pain, or gain, it is good to know that we are not alone in our struggles. We can trust God, whether as a last resort or otherwise; he will always be there to produce positive change. Thanks to the author for reminding us of the redemptive power of God through George's experience, and thank you for a great review.

The storyline is a relatable one, and I believe teenagers can learn and understand the need to live right with the life of George and Beta in the book. Nice review.

I had no idea that George started out as a wild child. Most of what I know of him are from his later years after receiving Christ as his Savior. Thank you for your informative review!
