Love stories are always exciting to read it's inspiring and a feel good read. I'm already imagining a true love expression between sam and Jenny the love which would break the barriers of friendship and childhood memories and brings them together. I love the story already.

What could have happened to the reply and what did it cost Sam and Jenny's relationship? The book sounds really captivating, and the rhetorical questions have definitely piqued my curiosity. The book is already on my to-read shelf.
Many thanks for the amazing review, @Deretha Thompson.

Thank you for the great feedback on this book. It's always great to have a bit more insight on how the book reads, especially when you don't have the book in front of you to get a feel for it. I love romance books of multiple different levels and I'm excited to give this one a go!

'Listen to Your Heart by Judy Condon is not your conventional love story but one where two hearts battle against time and challenges to be together.'
I like love stories, especially those fraught with challenges.

Reading the sample pages of Listen to Your Heart by Judy Condon brought a question to mind. Must love come with hurdles? Are there no exceptional cases?

I must say I absolutely adore the miscommunication trope, so I am quite intrigued to see how it could interfere with Jenny and Sam's story. I love the angst and drama it creates, and adding that to the war context where some of their story develops? I think there could be quite an interesting plot there (I love good plot twists, especially when they end up in happy endings, which I hope this book has!).

Today's BOTD is a historical romance novel that follows childhood friends, Sam and Jenny, through adulthood as they face challenges and obstacles, both apart and together. This sounds like an engaging read! I think readers will find the characters and their situations relatable. Thanks for the helpful review! :-)

I appreciate how this review highlights the unexpected depth of Listen to Your Heart. I initially thought this would be a typical romance novel, but the mention of Sam and Jenny’s evolving relationship, along with the miscommunication that changes their future, makes it sound much more layered. I also like that the book is told from both perspectives, with Jenny’s in italics—it seems like a great way to fully understand their emotions. The reviewer's praise for the emotional depth, humor, and strong character development has definitely piqued my interest. Thanks for such a detailed and thoughtful review!

From your review, it sounds like a captivating romance. I like being able to read from both perspectives. The premise of this unconventional love story, along with philosophical insights and humor, is promising. I'm not much into romance novels. But I'm rooting for their journey to bring them to a happy ending. Highly recommended for fans of this genre.
