Thanks Rosemary. Your review was interesting enough to make me want to put down what I'm currently reading in favour of this one. It sounds like an intriguing book, with characters one could easily fall in love with. Though I'm not really looking forward to those music sheets, I'm curious none the same.

This is the first novel in a trilogy. It is a historical fiction about war and espionage set in the 1940s. Also, it includes mystery and romance. I find it appealing that the story explores the themes of teamwork, dedication, determination, and love.

Although I am not too big a fan of historical fictions but I am partial to Egyptian history as I find them particularly fascinating especially if the plot has suspenseas its main theme. I would love to read this one. congrats on BOTD.

A nice historical fiction book "The Warramunga's War" by Greg Kater, which follows
James and Jack O'Brien, the Australian troops who are deployed to Egypt as army's intelligence agents in Cairo to detect and neutralize the German agents. It appears like exiting read.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

A nice historical fiction book "The Warramunga's War" by Greg Kater, which follows
James and Jack O'Brien, the Australian troops who are deployed to Egypt as army's intelligence agents in Cairo to detect and neutralize the German agents. Its exciting to read. Too familiar to my own history, I guess. However the descriptions you gave of the characters and locals caught my interest. Well done!

I would read this for the interesting historical setting and, as the reviewer says, for the fact that it is a balanced mixture of narration, dialogue and description. Though not a great fan of action books, the WWII period is interesting and Australian characters are something new to me.

I'm not a fan of historical fiction, but this does sound like one packed with adventure and great characters that make this an enjoyable read. Great review.

I'm not a fan of books with war and espionage. Plus, it's also a historical fiction. Though I liked the part about the fun James and Jack have, I don't think I'll be reading the book.

The cover is not really appealing but the review is attention grabbing. I do love historical fiction but War book are not normally my preferred reading choices. James and Jack's story does sound enthralling!
