The story sounds good, but for me, the religious view is a turn off. I think I will pass on this book.

George's coming to Jesus seems to make an inspirational story.

Thank you for the great review.

This book seems like a fun read with so many moral lessons. I hope George won't disappoint his father. Nice review.

I'm intrigued by your review. Besides, the sample mentioned how the author has modernized the story of George to make it more relatable to our times. I think this is an interesting way to tell a real story by setting it in a fictionalised future (our present) world.

The book seems heartwarming and the review is very enthisiastic but I'm not a religious person so I believe this book is not for me. Still I'm sure it will definitely find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I am very impressed at how Christian books have weaved in the struggles of ordinary people to make the book more like a life story than a traditional book of faith. I like the plot line of this story of the transitional nature of the character as he discovers God. I also like that George was resistant change, but his friend Beta becoming Christian spurred him to make a change in his life.

This book sounds interesting. It captures most of the teenagers relationship with their parents similar to George and his father being at loggerheads . The twist of Beta turning religious was unexpected and I am curious to find out more about George. Great review.

It seems that George's later years in life were quite different from his youth. I am curious about how this change came about. Thanks for the captivating review! I am looking forward to reading this story.

I tend to find Christian fiction boring and formulaic, but I am glad that you enjoyed the book. Writing convincing dialogue is definitely a challenge, so I'm glad that the author was able to achieve that. Thanks for the review.

I love any book where spiritual development is discussed. I know that this book will be fascinating too as it discusses how George's life turns into good.
