This book offers a deep look into love, sacrifice, and survival during wartime. Mo and Janey’s story adds warmth, while Aaron’s courage in the camp is inspiring. The mix of personal struggles and historical events makes it a compelling read. Congrats on BOTD!

Circumstances of War is a book that focuses on the life of Mo Gordon. As I read the sample, I liked how the author mentioned historical dates and places in every chapter. Historical fiction lovers will enjoy this book. Thanks for the review. Congrats on the BOTD!

War-time stories bring out distinctive resilience. These carry loads of learning and inspiration. I am curious about the protagonists- the Gordon twins and the Gittelsohn brothers. The writing in the sample read is engaging. Great synopsis.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon it, because "Circumstances of War" sounds incredibly moving and compelling. You mentioned that you loved Mo's love for Janey, and that’s exactly the kind of stories I enjoy, as I’m also a hopeless romantic at heart. You’ve perfectly described the compelling blend of action, mystery, and sci-fi elements, and that you loved Caryn’s character development makes me very eager to read the book.

This book is one of the most wholesome ones I have ever read. It serves as a reminder that bonds matter in a period of chaos and uncertainty. I am excited to see how Mo and Janey's story progresses. What a great BoTD!

Mo's love for Janey despite the disability seems like a great plot point. Circumstances of War by Robert John Gardner sounds like a great read for historocal fiction lovers. Unfortunately, I don't fit into this category, so I don't believe I'll be the best audience to properly appreciate this book.

its intriguing for one to find love during such a critical crisis. Though Holocaust stories shock me a lot. I would like to read more about Mo's love for Janey amidst the war crisis. Excellent review!

This book tells a story about how war affects different people. It shows how love and courage can help people survive even in the worst situations. It's about families, soldiers, and the challenges they face during a war.

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Though war stories aren't something I usually enjoy, the fact that this deals with family, love, brothers, and how people handle difficult times does interest me. I also, felt the character development was great. After reading your review, I have decided to add this to my list of books to read.

The sample I read involved 3 very different families during the reign of Hitler and the Holocaust. One family is political, here in the States, another a Jewish family in Germany, and another family with a set of twins that one is going off to war.
The story so far seems well-written, and the sample makes a reader want to continue to find out what happens to the main characters and how their lives tie into each other.
:eusa-think: Teach a child to read, and they can go anywhere and be anything within the pages of a book.
