'Official Review: Listen to Your Heart' by Judy Condon sheds light on the unique content of the historical fiction tale. This story is about two hearts that battle against time and challenges to be together. The two protagonists initially view their love as that between siblings. Readers will pick a lot of lessons from the book, which includes infusions of humor at strategic points. Nice to learn that this is a great romantic fiction!

The review is very convincing and pointed out the main aspects of the book. The book suggests a romantic story with many twists and turns. But the OBC's review suggests that the plot is unique which intrigued me as a fan of unstereotypes stories. Congrats on BOTD

I'm not a fan of love stories. Childhood-sweetheart stories are rare though, so I'm quite curious. I might listen to these hearts.

I am motivated to read this book after reading the free chapters, and your review! This review is very helpful for those wondering what kind of turns the main romance is going to take. We, the readers, know at the beginning that this book grapples with heavy themes of grief and loss. Trying to love again after a traumatic loss is a challenge many of us can relate to. So far, I love the historical setting of this book. I am interested in the aftermath of WWII, as most of us Americans don't get to learn about the post-WWII reconstruction, only the war itself. Thank you for the great review. I'll have to add more thoughts if/when I finish the rest of this fun novel.

This book is about a love that is built from a very early age, a friendship so great that it is considered a bond between brothers until one day he has to enlist in the air force and she believes that he will no longer have contact with her, all because of a communication failure.

Jenny shouldn't have assumed things. I hope their love and affection for each other is enough to carry them through this storm. Great plot. Congratulations on the book of the day.

The book makes it clear to you that true love is not always easy nor does it go in a straight line. Sometimes, opportunities are lost due to misunderstandings, pride or simply because life complicates everything like that.

This sounds like a good book and I am glad there are few characters, yet they are well-developed. It's better to do few characters well than myriad characters without depth.
