The author narrates the story of Curtis, a captured and imprisoned soldier. The details conveying Curtis' experience in captivity are realistic and harrowing. The irony is that Curtis joined military service to avoid a prison sentence, only for him to end up a prisoner of war.

Just like Curtis Dagley, I can't even imagine how his destiny can change within a short period. Curtis Dagley moved from living a normal life to joining the military.

Thank you for your insightful review of The Forgotten Soldier. It captures Curtis Dagley’s journey and the complexities of his life choices. The themes of responsibility, societal expectations, and personal relationships are indeed compelling. We appreciate your perspective on how these elements shape the narrative.

Curtis’s journey from avoiding jail time to facing unimaginable hardships in the military was gripping. The way Dr. Stefan Wozniak supported him in prison added an emotional depth that made his struggle even more compelling.

It's one thing to volunteer to serve in the army. There's also the place of getting a job in the army as a career path. However, being made to serve to pay for your crime is another thing all together. This makes for an intriguing story.

Terribly sorry to say, but my tastes in literature lie very far from life stories or anything remotely related to military business. Therefore, this book that involves both is definitely not my forte, and I will have to pass it, since I have no interest in what happened and became of Curtis Dagley. Still, congratulations on BOTD!

A story about hardships. Private Curtis escaped jail only to end up in the same situation in another country. This sounds like a fascinating plot.

It’s truly heartbreaking to be imprisoned while serving your country, especially after showing strength and dedication. This the harsh realities that some soldiers face, where their sacrifices are met with injustice rather than recognition. Very detailed review.

The journey through life exposes the various streets of detours when the human decides to take an avoidance path laid out by another. The review surrounds the story of the soldier’s path of stones and difficulties until the doctor begins to project staying strong. The review details the expectations and seems like a good read.

Curtis accidentally kills a woman while driving and his father uses his influence to prevent him from going to jail, but he ends up serving jail time for a crime during an important mission in the army. It's like one cannot escape consequences of one's actions.

Curtis’ life takes a turn because of an unfortunate accident. He was sent to the army, where he performs exceptionally well. He gets imprisoned during a mission. His jailmate, Stephen, is a positive influence. This is a wonderful story that speaks of resilience and hope.

"The Forgotten Soldier" by Dr. Angelique Barabara recounts the true story of Curtis Dagley, a man who enters the military to avoid jail, only to face further hardship and imprisonment after a critical mission. This review highlights the protagonist's journey of resilience and the injustices he faces, leaving readers to question whether his service and sacrifices will ever be recognized.
