Thank you for the encompassing review. It's always interesting to immerse into historical setting with a good deal of action and well-shaped characters.

Based on the official OnlineBookClub review, "The Warramunga's War" sounds like my cup of tea! Although I am a fan of historical fiction, I do not read many war genre books. However, I am interested in Greg Kater's work due the review's mentioning of good character development and gentle-humor dialogue. Furthermore, a bit of romance and guitar sheet music are definitely pluses! :)

This book is an attractive one just from the title: The Warramunga's War.The reviewer highlights the fictional actions of war and espionage in the 40's which I think is still a reality to a certain degree in world today among the super powers. It's therefore a nice one for readers.

This book sounds really interesting, i especially like that it focuses on the pyramids in Giza. I may just have to check this one out.

Thanks for your review! It's interesting how the book discusses the war efforts in Egypt. Most books that deal with WWII do not discuss the battles that happened in Africa. I'm curious to find out if Jack and James will be successful in their mission.

Interesting themes, but I am not into historical books about wars and I think I will skip this one.

Historical fiction is not my cup of tea, especially ones about war and espionage with all those spies and intrigues trying to steal battle plans from each other for the benefit og their own countries. The review is very enthusiastic and well written, so I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

This sounds like a great example of the historical war fiction genre, with the added bonus of an exotic setting. Both a Cairo full of spies and the descriptions of the pyramids and other sites sound exciting.

I will have to spy as I gaze at the Egyptian pyramids. The enemy is within the territory that I am working in.

In simple terms that's what the author is trying to communicate as I go through this review.

Books about spies and their secret missions always excite me. It seems like this one would be a great match for me. Knowing that it's part of a trilogy, I just hope it would not leave a cliffhanger ending. Thank you for your review!

Even with your great review, I just don’t think this one is for me. I read through the sample and didn’t feel a connection with it, and I didn’t realize it was the first of three. I wasn’t all that captivated by this one. Thanks for more details on this one so I could make a solid decision.

I normally don't read historical fiction, but your review is well-written and sincerely has piqued my interest. I have always been fascinated by ancient Egypt, but I have not read much on recent history. I really like the positivity in your review. Thank you!

Hopefully, Jack and James will be able to accomplish their mission of finding battle plans in order to stop the German agents! I'm glad you found this to be absorbing, well-written, had good descriptive historical settings and great action sequences. It's also great to hear that the characters were well-developed and realistic. Just one grammatical error? That's pretty good! This sounds like a perfect read for those who enjoy historical fiction with some romance (and perhaps those who can play guitar music!)! Thank you for the lovely review, and I'm glad you enjoyed this one immensely!
