Hey!
I'm a huge fan of Ken Folletts books, which are a mix of historical accurate figures and events as well as fictional characters.
I just finished the first book of "the Century Trilogy". It is called "Fall of Giants" and covers WWI and the Russian Revolutions. Usually not too much a fan of European history [I'm German and had to go through a great ordeal with it in high school], this book captured me. The fictional characters are five families in different countries [England, Germany, Russia and the US] that you follow through those times and events. You start to really like them, even the black sheep.
Has anybody read it yet? any opinions?
