Kennedy’s Revenge: The Election of 2016 by Stephen L. Rodenbeck told the story of Fitzgerald Cavendish, illegitimate son of the 35th US president, John F. Kennedy.

All his life, Fitz has wondered about his father whom he never knew and whom his mother, Mary Jane Scott, referred to as a ‘great man’. Upon the death of Fitz’s maternal grandmother, Gertrude, he came across an envelope with a key to a safe deposit box containing two envelopes which turned out to be clues to Fitz’s paternity. Moreover, enclosed in one of the envelopes were notes from the late Rresident JFK to Fitz's mother, including a cryptic message that could possibly shed light to the mystery behind his assassination.

While still overwhelmed by his discovery, Fitz met a remarkable and lovable woman by the name of Annie Van, who eventually but inadvertently helped him sort out the puzzles that were his father’s correspondence. When Fitz finally decided on what to do with his discovery, he gently broke up with Annie with a promise to return to her after a while. He employed the help of Caroline Kennedy to substantiate his claim about his identity then hired a powerhouse publicist, Polly Preston, who turned him into an instant celebrity.

With the ultimate goal of running for the presidency against Jeb Bush and Hilary Clinton for the election of 2016, Fitz got himself invited to the presidential debate, by appearing first on various television shows where he proved his problem solving skills, and with his Wall Street background proposed to solve the $20 trillion debt (by using debt-free money instead of the current debt-based money) of the country if he got elected president of the United States of America.

When I chose this book to review, I was initially intrigued by the premise and extremely curious as to how the author was going to pull it off. Halfway through the book, I already got more than I hoped for. Besides being a highly entertaining fiction that featured one of the most popular political figures of the United States, Kennedy’s Revenge is also an extremely engaging and very informative book of historical events not just in America but the whole world.

It is, basically, about the greatest conspiracy ever, plotted by the most powerful and most influential people on the planet who decide who win, who lose, who live, who die and whose ultimate goal was one-world government to be accomplished by bankrupting powerful countries and enslaving them forever. As phrased in Chapter 24 about World War II in one of the informal talks between Adolf Hitler, Hermann Goering and soon to be German Ambassador to the United Kingdom Joachim Von Ribbentrop: “They had learned through their research that the countries of Europe were all part of an international banking conspiracy that used ever expanding national debt burdens to bring the world under their control by influencing national and international affairs.”

With a great plot, interesting and lovable characters and well-researched and well-referenced historical facts interwoven into an easy-to-read novel, Kennedy’s Revenge is one great book, except for some typographical errors, which are, thankfully, too few to matter much.

In view of that, I give this book the rate of 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend it to readers who are into politics, money and banking system, world history and conspiracy theories.

That does sound interesting. I'm not sure I'd be able to keep up with the historical references... I'm woefully ignorant when it comes to American history.

It is interesting. The historical facts, I admit, were difficult to follow at first, but eventually got more and more interesting especially the assassinations of President Lincoln and President JFK :)

You intrigued me, kimmyschemy, so much that I did a little research on Kennedy's children. I have found another son who claimed to be Kennedy's son but it is very questionable. The book you have reviewed, Kennedy’s Revenge: The Election of 2016, seems to be interesting because it is about politics, not about a middle-aged or elderly child who suddenly decided he needs to know who his daddy was.

There is a lot of interesting topics touched in this book including politics (which you mentioned), banking, money system, conspiracy, secret societies, assassinations and world wars interwoven with fiction.

Great review! This sounds very interesting. I am interested to see how viable the protagonist's platform for debt free money is. Sounds like a very complex storyline. Congrats to @Stephen L Rodenbeck on a 4-star rating!

Thank you very much. I did not know about debt free money until I read this book.
