If you love historical romance, based in real peaple, very well written and well researched, you will love this book. it's from a famous portuguese author Isabel Stilwell and is her first novel translated to english.
tells the life of one of the most important queens of Portugal, from her childhood in England during the challege fourteenth century tiil her arrival in Portugal to marry our king John I of Avis.
From her marriage wiil be born 8 children that are known in Portugal as "Ínclita Geração" (illustrious Generation) due to the fact that most of them were kings or married to kings or have contribuited to the descoveries that led to a change of thinking and viewing the world.

I love books about queens. This sounds promising. I will definitely be keeping my eye open for this at the library. Is the writing style entertaining? Sometimes books that are too historical can turn out dry.
