“Something Beyond Love” by Wimberly N. Griffin presents the life of an American soldier, Brad, one of the best military air surveillance. He is married to Anna; they have a daughter together. Brad has gone on a duty to represent the United States of America in the Vietnam War. Due to the distance between him and his wife, Anna, she became more detached from her husband. As her libido grew, Anna started going out with Margo to the nightclub. She met Damon, and they started having an affair until John, a fellow military officer and a close friend of Brad, saw them kissing passionately in the club. What will Brad do when he hears about it? How will it go? Will it destroy their marriages? Readers will find answers in the book.

Wimberly analyzes the issues between parties in marital relationships and the possibilities of managing work and family. It is fascinating how work can take people away from what they love and create an avenue of temptation that will always leave an indelible hole in the lives of the victims. Readers will understand that love and kindness can hold a family together.

The love and kindness among the armies and their wounded colleagues is heartwarming. The book teaches the readers the need for fidelity in marriage. The book also emphasizes the need for a relationship with Jesus Christ. Brad always calls on God whenever he is in danger. The storyline is both insightful and emotional. The book portrays the theme of forgiveness and sacrifice.

I enjoy every aspect of the book. It is voluminous and qualitative. The writing style is a positive aspect of the book. It is educational, insightful, explanatory, and inspirational. I learned a lot about faithfulness and love from the book.

I do not detest the information in the book. I do not view the idea stories as having negative aspects, as they convey compelling issues. Furthermore, I view the story as sincere and encouraging. Likewise, I rate the book “Something Beyond Love” by Wimberly N. Griffin 5 out of 5 stars. The reasons for my rating are above. I recommend the book to military personnel and their families.

I truly believe in love. I believe that the only thing that can sustain a marriage is love. Apart from that, the union is a bound to an uncertain fate. The review is good. I would love to read the book.
