After reading the sample and your review, I am very tempted to own this book. I love poetry, and I especially like the style Prattis uses. ( It reminds me of mine!) Thank you for such a great review.

Your rhapsodic paean of praise does justice to this beautiful collection of the author's own work.

I love poetry. Deep and emotional poetry even more so. I feel it pours forth the soul or what the soul is feeling/experiencing throughout certain times or points in ones life. Love it

I do enjoy reading poetry, especially when it has a personal meaning to the authors life. I do like how the author included introductions to the poems to give you a background to why he wrote them.
Mad Hatter: "Have I gone mad?"
Alice: "I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.”

What I am delighted about is that I will not miss a poem to like in this book. I am also glad that the author organized the poems into thematic areas. Thanks for the review.

Painting With Words is a beautiful collection of poems showing the author's life. One section shows the beauty in the world that he sees, and one section shows the author's deep love for his wife. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review.

The amount of this interesting poetry collection that was read looked a little difficult to follow. However, your review made it easier to understand. The author's roller coaster life (like many of us!) would be reflected in his emotional words and the type of poetry written. The fact that you mentioned his editing was perfect is a big plus, for sure. However, I'm not sure if that's enough of a reason for me to place it in my bookshelf. I will have to find and read books that are a good fit for me. Thanks! Kay

I am not an avid reader of poems, but I found this one to be a very powerful emotional roller coaster. Deep poetry that will touch your heart.

This books looks like it covers a variety of subjects in poetry. I am not really a fan of poetry, but if I was i would certainly choose to read this book further. The poem i did read, "Corridors: Ode to Academia was very well written. I wish the sample had allowed me to finish that poem.
