From my little knowledge, Japanese culture is quite different from the Christian culture. I'm intrigued by how Haiku poems are written from a Christian perspective. Well, the details must be in the book.

The first gripping aspect of Lynda McKinney Lambert's book Each Day Holds Some Small Joy is the title. It inspires and prepares the reader for what to expect from the book. I know for a fact that I am picking up points that'll build and not mar me reading this book.

Definitely not my cup of tea, because with my level of knowledge of the English language, I have a huge issue understanding the deep meaning that simple lines carry. Therefore, even though I am thankful for the book, I will have to skip it. Sorry and congrats!

Poetry, in my opinion, cannot truly capture its essence unless it honors nature. The book's title is too alluring to ignore, and it should catch readers' interest. This endearing compilation encourages readers to enjoy life's little joys. The poetess instills in us the value of appreciating each little pleasure that nature offers. She serves as a reminder of the soul's genuine connection to nature.

It emphasizes ideas about happiness, the natural world, kinship, and daily existence. We can learn how to find happiness in the little things from this collection of gems. would want to encounter the poetess' haiku effect.

Poetry carries a deeper meaning than just its words and this one discusses nature from a Christian perspective. I think Christians who enjoy such literature would find this book truly appealing.

I really appreciate how you highlighted the profound simplicity in Lynda McKinney Lambert's haiku-style poetry. The poem you shared, about watering flowers like rivers in a desert, beautifully captures how even the smallest acts of nurturing nature can have a deeply transformative effect on the soul. I love how you emphasized the connection between nature and emotional well-being, which resonates strongly with me. Your review also made me reflect on the power of haiku to distill complex emotions into just a few words. It's inspiring to see how the author finds joy in everyday moments through her faith and surroundings. This book seems like a wonderful reminder to appreciate the small joys in life, and your review has convinced me to give it a try. Thank you for sharing your experience!

You wrote a nice detailed review. I am not a fan of poetry, but I can appreciate a good poem when I read one. This book seems to have some interesting poems in it.
