Poetry is something I normally do not read. Despite this, I enjoyed the topic presented in the book. Our world has numerous problems in it, and they are due to human greed and selfishness. I am curious how the author discusses these problems through their work. Thanks for the review! :)

The Residue of Our Desires by Darcy Green seems like an amazing book but it is not my kind of read. I will skip it but will definitely recommend.

The topics reflected upon in this book of poetry sounds like issues I ponder on almost daily especially exploiting earth, capitalism, cruelty, greed, and hope. Great review!

Unfortunately, drama and poetry certainly are not my cup of tea. Way too complicated and intertwined for easy reading and entertainment even in native language, let alone on recently learned and still awkward for understanding. Congratulations with BOTD even through I won't read it.

Firstly, I liked the title. Then I enjoyed leafing through the volume, especially preferring the blank verse poems. The numerous topics make the volume a pleasant read for different people. The review made me want to read more of it.
