Sadly, I must admit, that drama and poetry are definitely not my cup of tea, because the genre is way too complicated and intertwined for entertainment even in their native language, let alone for someone for whom English is self-learned secondary and still awkward for understanding. Congratulations with BOTD, anyway!

Review is explicit enough to explain what’s it’s about.

I’m wary of it being full of poems. Though I enjoy poems I love deeper stories and illustrations.

This play has everything to lure the readers. A fiction blending romance and poetry filled with passion would provide a mesmerizing experience to lovers of this genre. I found the colourful cover page quite attractive too. As romance novels don't excite me, I will give it a pass.

'Official Review: Diotima: Romantic Drama' by Bernard Kuckuck has a positive introduction. It serves as a solid background to the author's composition. The story centers around a young poet, who dreams of travel and learning. The play is romantic, alluring, and devastating. It places us front and center during European turbulence and unrest. Remarkably, there is not one thing readers wouldn't love for the book to hit the stage one day!

While the review has left me with some questions, it also makes me want to read the book. For example, Diotima is a person? Regardless, I love romantic novels so I am sure I will love this book.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting play following Hölderlin, young poet that dreams of travel and learning, who meets Susanette and falls in love. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how the relationship of Hölderlin and Susette will pan out and how his life changes upon meeting the love of his life and his roles in the society.

Bernard Kuckuck's "Diotima: Romantic Drama" is a beautiful love story that unfolds through the enchanting genres of poetry and drama. Hölderlin, consumed by travel mania, crosses paths with Susette, an unattainable woman. I encourage you to read this play to witness the allure of their attraction. Your gratifying review indicates your enjoyment of the play, and I hope others will be equally captivated.

Usually, these types of books are not my go to choice, however I chose it for my mom. After reading it, because I never knew Diotima actually existed, it sent me on whirl wind. I agree with different aspects of love as in spiritual love and physical love, it's an awesome point of view.

Thank you for your informative review. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much and it was edited so well. I don't care for poetry, so I'm the wrong one to read this. Based on your review though, those who enjoy poetry, plays, and romance will surely enjoy this book.
