Hmm. It sounds like there is a lot of merit in this one, but it just doesn't appeal to me. I don't really care for poetry, on the whole, especially not emotional poetry, which this sounds to be. Thank you for your review, all the same.

I read the sample pages and found myself a bit bored by all the explanation leading up to the actual poetry. Poems aren’t my biggest choice for reading, so this one just doesn’t interest me at all. I do appreciate your review that was so in-depth about what the collection entails. It was tough to know just from the sample.

This book truly sounds like an emotional roller coaster of poetry. I'm sure that even I, a non-poetry reader, would find something that I liked in this book. I like that each section talks about a different theme, but I don't think that this book will be a good fit for me. I like books that touch and move me, but I don't want to be overly emotional and think this book would bring that out. As poetry is not a genre I enjoy I will pass on reading this book.

As someone who doesn't usually read poetry, and may have trouble interpreting, I find that it would be extremely useful to know the reasons why an author wrote a poem. This inclusion alone may sway me to check this out little bit.

Poetry is not a cup of my tea but the reviewer has done quite an appealing job.

It's so sweet that the poet has considered his wife to be his muse and that this poetry reveals his love for her. The poet's words do sound deep. Thanks for the review!!

I like how each poem had a piece describing what it was about. I think this makes the poetry more accessible to the average reader.

This sounds like a great book for poetry lovers. I’m not really in the market for poetry right now, but I’ll read the sample.

I like your review especially highlighting your Greek heritage to show a connection with the author's work. I am not the biggest fan of poetry only because sometimes it can be hard to understand what the poet is trying to convey. I like that each poem has an introduction so that the reader can get into the mindset of the author and decode what he is trying to say.

It seems as though the official review is written by a fan. The author certainly made a lasting impression with his poems that seem to chronicle his life. The sample provided included examples and I can see why someone would read this book more than once. The poems are touching, poignant and well written.

Thank you for the review,
I can imagine the way you felt after reading the book, reading it twice meant that you felt being part of the poet's life.
I am very offended by curse words and for me, if the poem is hard to understand, I find it hard to read.
