MY LAMENT SONG

This, this is the lament part of my song where I play the strings slowly...
Scars float atop my head like an exotic language seeking asylum..
On jagged cliffs of a broken heart they perch like mournful bird's feathers dipped in evening's ink ...
The scars upon thee miseries linger and sting..
Today's becomes a constant ripple of your memories...
And I let this sea of memories percolate through the waves of moments..
My mind constantly trying to filter all the emotions my heart wants to release to you in this wilderness of fidgety words..
Behind this veil is a mystical connection between love and loss..
Where I've learnt to swim to stay alive by going against the current.
7 years in the ground that drank rain!
