IF I KNEW THEN BY TOMMY COMBS

If I knew then
What I know now
Would I still be
What I am now
I could be rich
I’d know the trends
Would I have you
Would I have my friends
It's something we all think and say
But would you really want it that way
Let's look back at what we are
We have the bruises and the scars
Or would we like to shine because
We know what’s in the way
Or would we want to be challenged by the day.
Would life be easier if we would know
What lies ahead as we go
If I knew then
What I know now
Would I still be
What I am now
After all is said
And we have had our say
I am happy as me
I like it this way.
