It's great. I think so. It sounds like something you would hear from a sermon in church and I think a lot more people should read it because we all could use a little grace these days. Have you thought about sharing this poem with one of the religious magazines out there for them to share as well?

It is true what Scott Hughes wrote in his poem. From my understanding of what he wrote is "we don't know how good, strong and understanding we are inside and out." There is a lot to Grace. We can overcome anything in life if we believe in yourself and God that is what grace, faith, love and hope mean to me.

Bravo 👏 very stated on all accounts. We’d go far if we put these into practice in our daily lives. We can have opinions and ideas, stand for what is right, have fun and enjoy life, all without being selfish arrogant jerks causing hurt to ourselves and those around us. Well said 👍

I quite love this, not because how beautifully it has written but it somehow relates our lives. Every line speaks, like it teaches that we can be strong without being harsh, kind without being naive, brave without pretending to be fearless and loving without becoming possessive. It teaches us maturity and kindness towards people and ourselves to.

This line 'To do, without trying' hit me like a revelation. It captures Taiost wisdom of effortless effort- something I've personally been striving to understand. To be honest, every stanza made me pause and breathe. It's the kind of poem you don't just read- you live with it.

Each line of this poem expresses true balance in spirit. The reference s in this poem are all facets I have spent an inordinate amount of time meditating on. These reflections have at some point in time been a part a part of my daily meditation practice. Beautiful work Scott.

I thought this poem was beautiful. Grace brings with it so much inner peace and the challenge seems to be finding the balance between those strengths and when they become what I like to call “over done strengths”. Very thoughtful poem and appreciated!
