Mirrors used to be my enemy

Mirrors used to be my enemy.
Every time I look , it makes me nauseous.
The need to change is there,it makes me cautious.
Mirrors used to be my enemy.
I don't know, what I was searching.
I stayed up at night, researching.
Mirrors used to be my enemy.
The urge to get accepted by society is there,
Bending and mending my morals.
Making myself drown in the corals.
Mirrors used to be my enemy.
As the days pass, I understand the world.
Finding myself more, neglecting the core.
As the night changes,the reflection becomes myself.
Shining brightest in the world.
Mirrors used to be my enemy, but not anymore .
