If you could choose a soundtrack for a book, which would be your match?

Post by Lucille27 »

Hello,
I'm a natural lover of both music and books. So I have created playlists for my readings. In this way, there are fragments of songs that remind me of the book I'm creating in my mind.
Have you ever done this? Which is a soundtrack that you would choose for a book if you could?
For example, when I read "The Wasteland", by T.S. Eliot, I tend to listen to watery-songs because of the recurrent theme of "death by water", especially I listen to "I drown", by Soley. However, I also have other songs in this playlist, such as "Pool", by Paramore (for the second part, where there is a chess game and the voices are talking about feeling trapped".

And, talking about Paramore, I re-read "Eveline", by James Joyce, with "26" from Paramore. I think I could do a comparative essay of both texts.

Please tell me if you enjoy mixing playlists and soundtracks. I'm intrigued. :techie-studyingbrown:
