EVERY one OF you (confidence)
male
female
blond ,brown, grey, red, pink blue, yellow..ect hair.
brown , hazel, blue, green, purple eyes
tall or short
skinny or over weight
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!
I suffer from lack of confidence, and deep down i really think every one does.
and really i don't think any one should have to feel terrible about who they are.
go look in the mirror and embrace your self.
what ever u see looking back at u, isn't what every one else see's
the flaws you think you may have DO NOT EXIST.
you are perfect.
what i hate about my self.
*i have a bump in the middle of my nose.
*ive gained a lot of weight
*ive got scars on my body from self infliction
*i have a scar by my eyes that messes with me when i do make up
* i hate my eye color
the list goes on and on and on.
And now im throwing my list away
I am dying my hair to its natural color as im typing this.
and i am going to be happy with who i am.
FLAWS AND ALL.
And now its your turn
type a list of every thing u find to be "flawed" about your self
and then at the end of the list write.
*GARBAGE *
cause that is what that list is.
then if u feel comfortable enough
post a pic of your self smiling.
Ill do it if you guys do
i have always hated my reflection- Evven when i did practically nude modeling - i hated my reflection
so lets break this never ending cycle of feeling like crap about our selves and start helping each other
feel good.

I also struggled with being hyper critical and having a low self esteem. Right now I am overweight, and sometimes that bothers me but most of the time I don't care... which is why I'm still overweight. haha.
When I was younger though things were much more specific. I hated my nose since it was so round, and I've always hated my arms. I was also taller than everyone else... which is far more horrifying for a girl than a guy. But yes I know that is all garbage. haha.

if enough people comment on here and keep saying its garbage i hope that every one will relize that most people hate the same things about them selves and actualy realize that it is *garbage!*that there is nothing wrong with them.Skillian wrote:Aww! What a sweet post! You are beautiful!

You can also think of these things as just any old adjective.
In some cultures, these are all beautiful... and in ours, they should be as well.
In Japan, if someone tells you that "your nose is tall" it's like, the greatest compliment ever.
I did a review on a book called "Aloha Self-Esteem" that talks about changing negative ideas about ourselves into positive ones... glad to see that you can do it!

I have gotten to the age where I am not as sensitive to what others think. Time does make you more accepting of yourself. I guess we do grow into ourselves…so you have that to look forward to

I found an interesting article and it said you should take any bad thoughts and change it into a positive thought. Here's a couple of mine. I am not fat, I am fluffy and lovable. I am not stubborn…I'm just not a quitter, lol.
Here are some for you

"what i hate about my self.
*i have a bump in the middle of my nose. Can you smell wonderful scents?
*ive gained a lot of weight You can handle getting sick better than being too thin

*ive got scars on my body from self infliction It will make you remember how far you have come
*i have a scar by my eyes that messes with me when i do make up Some of us don't know how to do makeup

* i hate my eye color Look really close…you might find some cool specks or a neat ring around your iris. Close up eyes can look really cool…check yours out. I now like my brown eyes.
the list goes on and on and on.
And now im throwing my list away
I am dying my hair to its natural color as im typing this." At least your natural color isn't mostly grey, lol.
Yes throwing it away if you can't make it a positive is a good thing

Also…find people and friends who are happy. Don't let toxic people bring you down.
