Re: Dream Jobs?
In a more serious sense, my step-sister works in a huge art building with shops. The rent on some is low--as in, a few hundred dollars a month!!--and I had thought of renting out a shop near hers and selling my furniture. (I'm a woodworker.) I could even sell my self-published books there! (Why not? It's my shop!) The problem is that I'm not organized, and lately I've been putting my physical energy not into building bookshelves and other medium-sized pieces, but remodeling the kitchen. Also, I have a health condition that causes serious fatigue and I don't get much done in one day. I sleep a lot and have energy crashes a lot. Plus, I have difficulty interacting with people.
In the meantime, my lovely step-sister has offered to sell my wares in her shop, as well as a handful of my books.

When I was eleven, my older cousin and I went to a local theme park, Kentucky Kingdom. We took the Coke/Pepsi taste test.ALynnPowers wrote:I wish someone would pay me to drink soda. I want to be a soda tester.
My cousin made her choice, and the tester said, "You picked Pepsi!!! YAY!!"
Then I made my choice, and she said, "Oh. You picked Coke," in this really flat, depressed voice.
I still laugh every time I remember that.

Hahah! Yeah, because it was a Pepsi company doing research to promote Pepsi and you helped make their findings invalid.zeldas_lullaby wrote:When I was eleven, my older cousin and I went to a local theme park, Kentucky Kingdom. That's funny. I did the same thing once with a phone survey. The questions were sooooo horrible and it was obvious what they wanted you to pick between two choices, so I intentionally picked the "bad" one.
