Need Christmas toy suggestions for a baby

Post by Mikky05v »

If I was to buy one high quality toy for my 2 month old daughter what would you suggest and why? I don't want a ton of junk but I want to get something nice.

If she doesn't already have a mobile, I would suggest the Fisher Price Rainforest Peek-A-Boo Leaves mobile. The mobile is detachable for use as a music box when they get big enough to reach it. My favorite is the nature sounds it makes and the other buttons are classical songs.

This is probably the best thing we ever bought for our son. He is now 5 and still has the music box on his bed to listen to. We have changed the batteries maybe two times since we've had it, which is really awesome. We went with something a little cutesier with our daughter and are frustrated with how quickly it runs through batteries. None of the other products seem to be as good.
The world lives between those who say it cannot be done and those who say that it can. And in my experience, those who say that it can be done are usually telling the truth. --Lord Vetinari (Discworld, Raising Steam)
