How do you submit a review to Amazon?

Post by AliceofX »

For The 11:05 Murders they also requested I submit a review to Amazon, but when I click on "Write a customer review" it says I must make a valid payment to submit a review. Tried to search the guidelines and forums, but that gave no results. Am I missing something here, because I am completely lost as to what I should be doing here.

I tried to see if I could submit a review on that book. I pressed on "Write a customer review" and was given the option to do so, even though I didn't buy the book. Do you have an Amazon account? You may need one to submit a review. You should try again or contact Amazon about it if you don't succeed.

Upon further inspection of Amazon guidelines it seems I misunderstood things a bit. It seems you need to spend $50 on Amazon before you can submit customer reviews. I have never used their services and so was unable to submit a review. That at least explains things a bit more, but still leaves me perplexed as to what to do now.

When I selected the book it came with the warning that the publisher requests an Amazon review, but I was completely unaware that I would not be able to comply with it. Perhaps in the future that should be better explained.

Odd. I think it is a new thing.

You should pm Scott and notify him about this.

That is odd. I agree that it almost has to be a new thing as I have never heard of that qualification before. :eusa-think:
