I understand.The Tucker-Cat kind of lost his little mind a few years ago when I moved from a country cottage next to a hayfield and woods and stream (where he was king of the jungle) to an apartment. He adjusted in time though...

Kind of a frustrating day...but I am home now...and soon to fix an early dinner...so it's all good.

Productive! Have a list of spices and herbs and misc. that need replenished at the market tomorrow. Getting the winter clutter stowed. I LOVE the change of seasons!

We had some excitement here a couple days ago. It started as a protest by the field workers for better wages in Vicente Guerreo which is only about a couple miles from here and ended up as a riot. Threre were shootings, looting, property being destroyed, fires, all kinds of mayhem. The main highway was closed, they called in the Federales and the army and it took about 3 days to get it under control. They told everyone to stay indoors while all this was going on. There were 200 arrests I was in town yesterday and they had about 30 motor homes hauling guys off to jail. All the stores were closed and they had armed soldiers patrolling the streets. They even tried to blow up the power sub-station, it was heavily guarded by the army. I went to town today, its a mess but things are getting back to normal. My guess is it started out as a demonstration and like most things like that a bunch of a-holes who didnt have anything to do with the demonstraters just wanted an excuse to cause trouble. Scary stuff.

TWO NUNS WERE SITTING AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT ... in their car in Dublin, Ireland when a bunch of rowdy drunks pull up alongside of them.

"Hey, show us your chest, you bloody penguins!" shouts one of the drunks.

The Mother Superior turns to Sister Margaret, "I don't think they know who we are. Show them your cross."

So Sister Mary Margaret rolls down her window and shouts, "Screw off ye little fookin' wankers, before I come over there and rip yer nuts off!"

Sister Mary Margaret looks back at the Mother Superior and asks,
"Was that cross enough?!"
